Get More Traffic From Instagram!

Hello,

It’s a great thing to have thousands of followers on 
Instagram, but what good are all those followers if they 
aren’t taking action?

You don’t need followers. Followers, on their own, do 
absolutely nothing for you. You need them to join your
email list, visit your website, and buy your products.

The biggest mistake Instagram marketers make is posting
a bunch of photos that have nothing to do with their niche.

For example, they might post pictures of what they had for
lunch or pictures of their dog. Those pictures are fine to
post now and then, or if you’re specifically trying to 
target people who are foodies or pet lovers, but if you’re
marketing something like internet marketing information 
products or fashion, they aren’t going to get you the kind
of results you’re hoping for.

Make sure at least 50% of the content you post is related
specifically to your niche, and tag them with the 
appropriate keyword hash tags.

Also, be sure you’re using photos with text now and then.
Adding text to some of your photos can significantly increase
engagement, but you want to limit this to about 10% or less
of the total content you post. Your followers will get tired 
of seeing it if you post too much text.

When you make posts, ask for engagement! Ask people to like
your content, and make sure you ask them to follow the 
link to your website in your bio!

You can also post images with URLs written on them, and
videos branded with your URL to help increase clicks to
your website.

If you’re offering a freebie to attract opt-ins to your
list, you can post a picture of it with your opt-in URL
to your feed. (Just make sure it’s a short enough URL to
be easy to type in!)

You can also consider branding everything you post with 
a small URL. Just be sure the branding isn’t too 
conspicuous or you’ll risk alienating your followers.

You can also sponsor other Instagram accounts by paying
them money to share your content. This can be extremely 
powerful if you find the right profiles, but keep in mind 
that you should make sure their posts get high engagement 
so you can be sure they didn’t just buy a bunch of followers
in order to get sponsorship.
