The Best Apps For Instagram!

Apps for Instagram? What?

Wait just a darn minute. Isn’t Instagram an app?

Well, yes. But there are some apps you can get that will 
actually help you take better photos and videos and create
cool things that you can post on Instagram, going above and
beyond what Instagram can do natively.

First of all, there’s the new SW/NG (or Swing) app from
Polaroid. This app lets you make cool photos that move 
and can really grab a lot of attention! Best of all, the
app is free!

Next up is the Hyperlapse app from Instagram. This app lets 
you make really cool time lapse animations that, again, will
attract tons of attention on Instagram. It’s for iOS only.

Canva is a design app that will let you write on your 
photos (or even on photos and graphics they provide). If 
you have a message you want to send to your Instagram followers,
Canva makes it easy to create cool graphics you can post
on Instagram.

Instagram used to have a great black and white filter called
Gotham, but they got rid of it in favor of a new one called 
Inkwell that just isn’t as good. But if you want to take 
really great black and white photos, try out an iOS-only
app called Black. The advanced features are only 99 cents, 
but the base app is free!

Instagram has a built-in collage maker, but it only has a 
handful of basic layouts. Pic Stitch is available for both
iOS and Android, and will let you make great collages in a
wider variety of layouts. Basic functionality is free, and 
you can buy special effects packs for 99 cents and $1.99
each.

These types of apps will help you create much cooler pics
and videos to post on Instagram and will get a lot more
attention than basic photos.
