Elements Of A Successful Instagram Profile

Your profile is one of the most important elements of your
success on Instagram, but too many people give it very little
or even no attention.

Think about it. Would YOU follow someone who has no profile 
picture and no information in their bio? Odds are, you would
assume that person was just a spammer, and you’d just ignore
them.

The more followers you have, the greater your reach, so it’s
important to set up your profile to gain the most followers
possible.

The first thing to consider is your username. You may already
have a username, but if you haven’t signed up yet, be sure
to choose an interesting username that relates to your 
niche/genre. You can either use your own name, or your 
company or product name. If you’re looking to build a good,
general profile, you can also choose something fun or 
interesting. Just be sure your name is something people can
remember.

Is the name you want already taken? Try using dots or dashes 
in your username.

Your profile photo can be a picture of you, a picture of your
product, or your company or website logo. It’s not a good idea
to use a stock photo, as people may rip you apart if your 
profile gets popular and people realize you’re using a stock 
photo.

It’s a good idea to edit your bio on a computer rather than 
on a mobile device. It’s a little more flexible, and it will
allow you to use hard returns in your bio to help space your
text out better.

Also, make absolutely sure you include a link to your website
on your bio page, because it’s the only place on Instagram 
where you can have a clickable link. It’s very important to
take advantage of this, as it will get you a lot more traffic
than you would if you don’t include anything!

Plus, you can always post in your photo descriptions to 
visit your bio for a link to your site!

You can also use cute emojis in your bio to attract attention,
but don’t go overboard. It could make your bio look spammy.

Instead, use just one or two emojis that relate to your
niche to draw attention to important elements, especially to
your URL!
